Menopause & Perimenopause

COMING Soon!

Perimenopause & Menopausal Health is new in 2025/2026. Starting in January 2026 we will be offering nurse-led visits for women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Our program team will provide individualized assessment and connect you with current information on symptom management and disease prevention, We will consult with health care providers to access treatments or referrals if needed.

Bookings for this program are not yet open.

THFHT also has patient resource pages with information on reproductive health and  healthy living on this website . These pages can be viewed by anyone, not just THFHT patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. THFHT patients can call the clinic themselves and book an appointment.

You can still book appointments with your doctor or nurse practitioner provider. Some doctors or NPs may encourage you to book with the nurse-led programs as their care is expert and excellent. Accessing nursing care is the best use of our team of professionals.

Yes. We have a Screening & Prevention program where men and women aged 50 to 75 years can book with an RN. We have other programs, such as Heart and Lung Health and Older Adult Primary Care, where THFHT patients can  book appointments with an RN. You can read all about these programs on this website in the program section.

You can book with existing programs (Pap, Well-woman, Screening) or see your health care provider (doctor or nurse practitioner).

A THFHT patient is any patient who is enrolled to the practices of Dr. Marwah Ali, Dr. James Read, Dr. Dan Sheps, Dr. Paul Williams,  Dr. Kelly Parks, Dr. Emily Beyls, Dr. Elias Maraghi, NP Samantha Dalby, NP Laurie Deviney, NP Carole Robichaud, NP Stasia Bennett, NP Colleen Lewis.

Unfortunately, no. However, you can visit the page on this website for people who are not a THFHT patient and read about how to access screening tests elsewhere. Please visit 'Not A THFHT Patient'.

THFHT formally recognizes the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement. We reside on the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788.  On these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg

(A-NISH-IN-NAW-BEK) met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for settlement. Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.

2SLGBTQIA+ Being an equALLY to all is a core value at THFHT where we honour difference, celebrate self-expression, and provide safe spaces that value trust, respect and confidentiality.
